Bluetooth Car Navigation Systems
Garmin Zumo 550/500
In order to correctly perform the Bluetooth connection to the N-Com system, the Garmin Zumo navigator must be updated with the software version 2.50 or higher. If the software is not updated, download the latest version from the Garmin website (http://www.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=1907).
CAUTION: the navigator software's updating is required with version 3.30 in case version 3.20 is set up.
When first using the navigator, perform the Bluetooth pair-up between the N-Com and Garmin Zumo using the Handsfree (HF) profile, according to the following procedure:
Warning: When pairing up the navigator to the N-Com Bluetooth Kit system, check the correct use of the pairing up HF (Handsfree) profile. With the N-Com Bluetooth Kit2 or Bluetooth Kit X-Series systems, the pairing up profile is automatically chosen by the system.
* On the navigator select the Bluetooth icon from the settings menu and check whether it is active. If required, activate it.
* On the N-Com e-box keep the button “on” pressed: the volume buttons first light up and after a few seconds start flashing;
* Select “Connect headset Search” from the Bluetooth menu. When “Add device” appears, press OK.
* The navigator performs the search and finds N-Com;
* Perform the audio test. N-Com will be recognized by the navigator as its headset.
Once the N-Com and Garmin Zumo are on, the search is automatic and the voice messages (or music) are sent to the helmet. During the Garmin Zumo communication, the intercom via cable is automatically interrupted and then restored at the end of the communication.
Some mobile phone models*** allow the Bluetooth connection to Garmin Zumo. Perform the pair-up and the connection between the Garmin Zumo and the telephone according to the instructions provided in the Garmin Zumo manual or on the website. If the Garmin Zumo has been previously paired-up and connected to the N-Com Bluetooth system, the call goes straight through the helmet.

GARMIN STREETPILOT 2820
In order to correctly perform the Bluetooth connection to the N-Com system, the Garmin StreetPilot 2820 navigator must be updated with the software version 3.30 or higher. If the software is not updated, download the latest version from the Garmin website (http://www.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=1665).
CAUTION: the navigator software's updating is required with version 4.10 in case version 4.00 is set up.
When first using the navigator, perform the Bluetooth pair-up between the N-Com and Garmin StreetPilot 2820 according to the following procedure:
Attention: When pairing up the navigator to the N-Com Bluetooth Kit system, check the correct use of the pairing up HF (Handsfree) profile. With the N-Com Bluetooth Kit2 or Bluetooth Kit X-Series systems, the pairing up profile is automatically chosen by the system.
* On the navigator select the BLUETOOTH icon from the settings menu and check whether it is active. If required, activate it.
* On the N-Com e-box keep the “on” button pressed (for about 12 sec.): the volume buttons first light up and after a few seconds they start flashing.
* On the Garmin 2820 select “Manage connections” from the Bluetooth menu. When “Add device” appears press OK.
* The navigator performs the search and finds N-Com;
* Perform the audio test. N-Com will be recognized by the navigator as its headset.
Once the N-Com and Garmin StreetPilot 2820 are on, the search is automatic and the voice messages (or music) are sent to the helmet.

BMW MOTORRAD NAVIGATOR III
In order to correctly perform the Bluetooth connection to the N-Com system, the BMW MOTORRAD Navigator III navigator must be updated with the software version 3.30 or higher. If the software is not updated, download the latest version from the Garmin website (http://www.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=1665) or from the BMW website (http://www.bmw-motorrad.com/com/en/index.html ) at the “Equipment” menu, on the section "Downloads".
When first using the navigator, perform the Bluetooth pair-up between the N-Com and BMW MOTORRAD Navigator III according to the following procedure:

GARMIN Nüvi 510
In order to correctly perform the Bluetooth connection to the N-Com system, the Garmin nüvi 510 navigator must be updated with the software version 3.40 or higher. If the software is not updated, download the latest version from the Garmin website.
When first using the navigator, perform the Bluetooth pair-up between the N-Com and Garmin nüvi, according to the following procedure:
Warning: When pairing up the navigator to the N-Com Bluetooth Kit system, check the correct use of the pairing up HF (Handsfree) profile. With the N-Com Bluetooth Kit2 or Bluetooth Kit X-Series systems, the pairing up profile is automatically chosen by the system.
*On the navigator select the Bluetooth icon from the settings menu and check whether it is active. If required, activate it.
*On the N-Com e-box keep the button “on” pressed: the volume buttons first light up and after a few seconds start flashing.
*Select “Change” from the Bluetooth connection menu. When “Add device” appears, press OK.
*The navigator performs the search and finds N-Com; Select the N-Com device to complete the pairing;
*Perform the audio test. N-Com will be recognized by the navigator as its headset.
During the Garmin nüvi communication, the intercom via cable is automatically interrupted and then restored at the end of the communication.
Attention:Once the helmet and the navigator paired up, the Rider - Passenger connection is not automatic. To use the intercom, it is necessary to activate the connection by pressing the “on” button briefly (only for N-Com Bluetooth Kit and Bluetooth Kit X-Series).
Tom Tom Rider - Tom Tom RIDER 2nd Edition
In order to correctly perform the Bluetooth connection to the N-Com system, the TomTom RIDER navigator must be updated with the software version 6.150 or higher. If the software is not updated, download the latest version from the TomTom website (www.tomtom.com).
When first using the navigator, perform the Bluetooth pair-up between the N-Com and TomTom RIDER using the Headset (HS) profile, according to the following procedure:
Warning: When pairing up the navigator to the N-Com Bluetooth Kit system, check the correct use of the pairing up HS (Headset) profile. With the N-Com Bluetooth Kit2 or Bluetooth Kit X-Series systems, the pairing up profile is automatically chosen by the system.
*Choose the options "Change Preferences" and "Connect headset" from the navigator menu.
*On the N-Com e-box, keep the button "on" pressed until the lateral keys start flashing.
*Press "OK" when TomTom asks to “Search new headset”.
*The navigator will find the N-Com device.
*Carry out the audio test - the N-Com device will be recognized as an headphone.
Note: If the earphone search turns out to be difficult, repeat the procedure after resetting the TomTom RIDER according to the procedures shown in the navigator instructions. If pair-up problems persist, restore factory conditions (menu Change Preferences -> Reset Factory Settings).
Once the N-Com and TomTom RIDER are on, the search is automatic and the voice messages are sent to the helmet. During the TomTom RIDER communication, the intercom via cable is automatically interrupted and then restored at the end of the communication.
Some mobile phone models*** allow the Bluetooth connection to TomTom RIDER. Perform the pair-up and the connection between the TomTom RIDER and the telephone according to the instructions provided in the navigator manual or on the website. If the TomTom RIDER has been previously paired-up and connected to the N-Com Bluetooth2 system, the call goes straight through the helmet.
Note: This function requires the software version 6.150 or higher of the TomTom RIDER.

Warning: Listening to other equipment should not interfere with driving the vehicle, which must be the top priority
at all times. Carry out all operations on the electronic equipment and on the N-Com system with the vehicle stopped,
in compliance with Traffic Regulations.
Warning: Listening at high volumes can distract you from driving the vehicle and may result in dangerous situations
or reduce the ability to hear external noise. Adjust the volume before using the system on the road.
Warning: Adjust the volume of the N-Com system (if equipped) and of the audio sources connected to it to avoid audio reproduction at high volumes. Constant exposure to high audio volumes may damage your hearing.
