CABLE CONNECTION TO MP3 PLAYERS

The N-Com, X-Series and MULTI communication systems may be connected via cable to audio devices equipped with 3.5 mm output.
Connection occurs through the Multimedia Wire, specific according to the N-Com Kit used.

The B4 system works in Stereo mode with the Multimedia Wire “X” - Code CPA0000000007 – Blue Band.

In order to use a Mono cable, a pre-selection must be carried out by means of "N-Com Wizard" or by operating from the helmet (see controls diagram).

The Bluetooth Kit3 system (used in conjunction with Basic Kit2) works in Stereo mode with the Multimedia Wire “X” - Code CPA0000000007 – Blue Band.

Note: If Basic kit (no longer available) is used in conjunction with Bluetooth Kit3, you need to use the Multimedia Wire "S"* - Code CPA0000000001 Red Band.

The B1 system works in Stereo mode with the Multimedia Wire2 Mp3 micro USB - Code CPA0000000009.
The BX4 system works in Stereo mode with the Multimedia Wire2 Mp3 micro USB - Code CPA0000000009.
The MULTI 2 system works in Stereo mode with the Multimedia Wire “X” - Code CPA0000000007 – Blue Band.
The system works in the following mode:
  • Mono with Multimedia Wire “S”* – Code CPA0000000001 – Red Band
  • Stereo with Multimedia Wire2 “X” – Code CPA0000000007 – Blue Band

Depending on the type of connection and the cable used, you need to suitably position the basic card:

  • Mono Connection – BLUE side: Use this when connecting a Mono-type cable or for cable connection to the passenger's helmet
  • Stereo Connection - RED side: Use this for connection to a Stereo-type cable. If you use a Mono-type cable, you will hear the audio signal from the left channel only

Caution: Never use the Basic Card from the red side for the cable connection to another helmet. Improper use may damage the system

Bluetooth Kit2 + Basic Kit2:

  • Mono audio with Multimedia Wire “S” – Code CPA0000000001 – Red Band

The system automatically recognises if Basic Kit or Basic kit2 is used and the type of cable used for connection to external audio sources, Multimedia Wire (Mono) or Mulitmedia Wire2 (Stereo).
Bluetooth Kit2 is pre-set to receive Stereo cables, nevertheless when the system is turned on it checks the type of cable used: if a Mono cable is used, you need to connect it before turning on the N-Com system so that it can be recognised.
