Read the specific information pertaining to your system and verify which Multimedia Wire to use.

To talk with your pillion, you can use the intercom system installed on the motorcycle.

HELMETS EQUIPPED WITH INTERCOM KIT OR N-COM BLUETOOTH SYSTEM
Both helmets must be equipped with an N-Com Intercom Kit or Bluetooth system of the N-Com, X-Series, MULTI lines, and they must be connected to the motorcycle by means of the specific Multimedia Wire BMW.
Read the specific information pertaining to your system and verify which Multimedia Wire to use.
CAUTION: The helmets MUST NOT be connected in intercom mode through the N-Com system.

With this configuration, you can connect the rider's helmet to the motorcycle communication system and activate intercom communication with the passenger. The rider's helmet must be equipped with an N-Com Intercom Kit or with a Bluetooth system of the N-Com, X-Series or MULTI lines To carry out the connection, connect the specific Multimedia Wire to the motorcycle connector and to the rider's helmet (3.5 mm "IN" input connector).

You can connect the rider’s helmet to the passenger's helmet:

• via Bluetooth: If both helmets are equipped with an N-Com Bluetooth system
• via cable: If rider and pillion passenger are  equipped with an N-Com communication system that allows it

The passenger will be able to hear the audio coming from the motorcycle system.

CAUTION: The cable for connection to the motorcycle cannot be used with helmets equipped with Basic Kit only.
